 Phil Gauer has
been licensed to
practice law in Ohio
since 1991. He is also
admitted in Federal
District Court for both
the northern and
southern districts of
Ohio, as well as the
Sixth Circuit Court of
Appeals. He is a
Certified Specialist in
Workers' Compensation
law by the Ohio State
Bar Association. His
other areas of practice
include Social Security
disability, wills and
probate, and Crime
Victims’ Compensation.
Phil is a former
Assistant Attorney
General in the Ohio
Attorney General's
Office and has been in
private practice since
1995. He graduated from
Capital University Law
School in 1991 and
received his
undergraduate degree
from Miami University in
Oxford, Ohio in 1986.
On a personal note,
“I married the girl I
met in the fourth grade,
so when I find something
I like, I stick with it!
Janet, my wife, is my
assistant at the office
(I am her assistant at
home). We have three
daughters (and two
dogs), so I plan to be
at this for many years
to come."
